Keeping your CARTA 3 glass top clean helps preserve flavor and keeps your water filtration performing at its best. Regular cleaning prevents residue buildup and keeps your glass looking like new.

Cleaning Instructions

1. Ensure your CARTA 3 is completely powered off.
2. Carefully remove the glass top from the base.
3. Empty any remaining water from the glass.
4. Fill the glass with 90% isopropyl alcohol.
5. Cover the openings with your fingers or a stopper to prevent spills.
6. Shake the glass vigorously for several minutes to loosen any residue.
7. Set the glass down so the bottom portion can soak in the isopropyl alcohol for several minutes.
8. Repeat the shaking and soaking process as needed until the glass is clean.

Rinse the Glass

Once the glass is clean:

1. Empty the isopropyl alcohol.
2. Fill the glass with distilled water and shake thoroughly to remove any remaining alcohol.
3. Empty the water and repeat the rinse several times if necessary.

Refill the Glass

Once the glass has been thoroughly rinsed:

1. Fill it with fresh water until the water level sits just above the Focus V logo on the glass.
2. Carefully reinstall the glass onto the CARTA 3, ensuring it is fully seated before use.

Best Practices

• Clean the glass regularly to maintain the purest flavor.
• Always rinse thoroughly after using isopropyl alcohol.
• Never reinstall the glass while alcohol remains inside.
• Replace the water regularly, even if the glass appears clean.
