CARTA 3 — Post-Session Cleaning Care
Cleaning your CARTA 3 atomizer after every session is the single best way to preserve flavor, maintain peak vapor production, and maximize the lifespan of your atomizer. Regular post-session maintenance prevents residue from baking onto the chamber walls, making deep cleaning far less frequent.
Clean Immediately After Every Session
For the easiest cleanup, clean the atomizer immediately after your session ends, while the chamber is still warm.
Recommended Cleaning Procedure
After each session:
- Allow the chamber to cool just enough so it is safe to handle, but while it is still warm.
- Using a dry cotton swab, thoroughly wipe the inside of the atomizer chamber.
- Use a second dry cotton swab to remove any remaining residue until the chamber appears clean. We recommend using at least two dry dab swabs after every session to keep your atomizer as clean as possible and promote maximum device longevity.
Forgot to Swab?
If residue has cooled before you had a chance to clean it, don't worry. Simply run a brief heating cycle to soften the remaining concentrate. Once the chamber is warm again, use dry cotton swabs to remove the loosened residue before it has an opportunity to bake onto the ceramic. Cleaning shortly after reheating is much easier than attempting to remove residue that has been repeatedly heated over multiple sessions.
Best Practices
- Use at least two dry dab swabs after every session.
- Clean while the chamber is still warm whenever possible.
- If residue has cooled, briefly reheat the chamber before swabbing.
- Remove as much residue as possible after every session to help prevent staining and carbon buildup.
- Consistent post-session cleaning significantly extends the life of your atomizer while maintaining the best possible flavor and performance.
