The CARTA 3 features a removable CONNECT airpath designed to make cleaning and maintenance easier. Over time, concentrate residue can accumulate inside the airpath and around the base, potentially affecting airflow, flavor, and overall performance. Regular cleaning helps prevent buildup and keeps your CARTA 3 performing at its best.

   Power Off Your CARTA 3

   Before beginning, make sure your CARTA 3 is completely powered off and the device has cooled down.

   Remove the Glass Top and Atomizer

   Carefully remove the glass top from the CONNECT airpath. Next, unscrew and remove the INTELLI-CORE 3 Atomizer from the base.

   Remove the CONNECT Airpath

   Once the glass top and atomizer have been removed, carefully detach the CONNECT airpath from the CARTA 3 base. Inspect the airpath and the area where it sits for any visible concentrate residue or buildup.

   Clean the CONNECT Airpath and Base

   Dip a cotton swab into isopropyl alcohol and gently clean any concentrate residue from the CONNECT airpath and the area where it sits inside the base. If you notice hardened residue, carefully use a tool such as the Focus V metal dabber to loosen and remove the buildup without damaging the surrounding components. Repeat the cleaning process with isopropyl alcohol as needed until the residue has been removed.

   Remove Remaining Alcohol and Allow to Dry

   Once the residue has been removed, use a fresh cotton swab lightly dampened with water to wipe away any remaining isopropyl alcohol from the accessible airpath surfaces. Avoid allowing water or isopropyl alcohol to enter the electronic components of the base. Do not pour liquids directly into the device. Allow all components to dry completely before reassembling your CARTA 3.

   Reassemble Your CARTA 3

   Once everything is completely clean and dry: Insert the CONNECT airpath back into its designated position on the CARTA 3 base. Reinstall the INTELLI-CORE 3 Atomizer until snug, without overtightening. Secure the glass top back onto the CONNECT airpath. Your CARTA 3 is now clean and ready for your next session!
