Connecting your CARTA 3 to the Focus V app on Android unlocks additional customization, device controls, firmware updates, and exclusive features beyond what's available directly on your device. From creating custom session presets and LED lighting effects to uploading personalized screensavers and earning rewards, the app allows you to make your CARTA 3 experience truly your own.

Download the Focus V App

Before getting started, make sure your CARTA 3 is powered on and Bluetooth is enabled on your Android device.

1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android phone.
2. Search for Focus V.
3. Download and install the Focus V app.
4. Once installed, open the app. You may also be prompted to enable push notifications. These are optional and can be adjusted through your phone's settings.

Sign In to Your Focus V Account

Once the app opens, you'll be prompted to sign in if you're not already logged in.

1. Enter your Focus V account credentials.
2. If you don't already have an account, follow the prompts to create one.
3. Once signed in, you'll be directed to the device selection screen.

Connect Your CARTA 3

After signing in, the app will display a list of available Focus V devices.

1. Select CARTA 3 from the list.
2. Allow the app a few moments to establish a connection with your device.
3. If prompted, approve any necessary Bluetooth permissions. Once connected, you'll be able to access your CARTA 3's settings and additional features directly through the app.

Check for Firmware Updates

After connecting your CARTA 3, the app may prompt you to install an available firmware update. If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions and allow the installation to complete before continuing. Keeping your firmware updated helps ensure your CARTA 3 has access to the latest improvements and features.
