After ensuring your CARTA 2 is turned off, remove the glass top. Next, detach the Intelli-Core MAX atomizer from the base of the unit.

Next, remove the silicone tether and bubble cap from the atomizer, and then remove the silicone bumper. Submerge the MAX atomizer in a dish or container filled with isopropyl alcohol and let it soak for at least ten minutes, or until all residue is removed.

While the atomizer is soaking, use a 70% isopropyl wipe or a paper towel soaked in isopropyl to thoroughly clean the bubble cap until all residue is removed.

After soaking, take the MAX atomizer out of the isopropyl dish and let it air dry completely, which can take up to one or two hours. Once dry, reattach it to the CARTA TWO base, secure the silicone bumper, and place the bubble cap and silicone tether back onto the atomizer base.

After this, place the glass top back onto the CARTA 2 base, and you're all set!
