After ensuring your AERIS is turned off, first remove the silicone mouthpiece. Then, detach the Intelli-Core MAX atomizer from the base of the unit.

Next, remove the silicone bumper from the atomizer. Submerge the MAX atomizer in a dish or container filled with isopropyl alcohol and let it soak for at least ten minutes, or until all residue is removed.

While the atomizer soaks, remove the AERIS adapter ring from the silicone mouthpiece and gently clean the interior of the adapter using a 70% isopropyl wipe. Ensure to promptly wipe off any remaining isopropyl with a dry paper towel.

After soaking, remove the MAX atomizer from the isopropyl dish and allow it to air dry completely. This may take up to one or two hours. Once dry, attach the silicone bumper to the atomizer, then secure the MAX atomizer back onto the AERIS base.

Then, attach the AERIS adapter onto the silicone mouthpiece and ensure it fits snugly back onto the AERIS. That's it - you're all set!
