Maintaining your AERIS ensures not just a pure and smooth vaping experience but also prolongs the life of your device. This guide provides you with detailed steps to ensure your AERIS is cleaned efficiently and safely. By following these instructions, you can ensure that every session is as enjoyable as the first.
ATOMIZER
Make sure you have all recommended supplies readily available before beginning the cleaning process. This includes:
70% Isopropyl alcohol
70% Isopropyl alcohol wipes
Distilled/fresh water
Containers
Paper towels or cleaning cloth
Ensure the AERIS is turned off. Then, remove the silicone mouthpiece from the AERIS body. Gently twist off the Intelli-Core atomizer counter clockwise. If you feel resistance DO NOT FORCE, as this could damage your connection pins. Instead, run a brief session at the lowest temperature for 15 seconds to loosen any residue, and then turn the AERIS off for about five minutes or until it’s cool-to-touch before removing the Intelli-Core atomizer.
Remove the silicone bumper and soak the atomizer in a container designated for isopropyl for 10 minutes. After soaking, remove the atomizer and check its connection points. Using a swab soaked in 70% isopropyl, clean the connection points ensuring all residue is cleaned off. After all residue is removed, pat dry and then let it air dry for at least 1 hour. Do not use atomizer until fully dry.
Once fully dry, put the silicone bumper back onto the atomizer and then thread the atomizer back into the AERIS’s body chamber, ensuring it is fully seated. After this, we recommend running a 15 second test cycle at the lowest temp to ensure proper operation. After fifteen seconds, cancel the session by clicking V button once.
Secure the mouthpiece back on to the AERIS body. Your AERIS’ Intelli-Core is now cleaned up and ready for use.
MOUTHPIECE
Make sure you have all recommended supplies readily available before beginning the cleaning process. This includes:
70% Isopropyl alcohol
50-70% Isopropyl alcohol wipes
Rinse water cup or container
Isopropyl cup or container
Distilled/fresh water cup or container
Empty cup or container
5 - 10 paper towels or towelettes
Ensure the AERIS is turned off. Then, remove the silicone mouthpiece from the AERIS body.
Holding the mouthpiece with the tip facing down, press from the mouthpiece tip with slight pressure until the glass airflow insert “pop” up from the silicone mouthpiece. Remove the glass airflow insert, and soak it in your cup designated for isopropyl alcohol for about ten minutes. After soaking, remove the glass airflow insert and proceed to use a isopropyl-soaked swab to clean the inner air pathways of the glass airflow insert to ensure optimal performance.
After cleaning the pathways, dry off with a paper towel or towelette. Then, let it air dry for at least thirty to sixty minutes.
Then, move on to the interior of the silicone mouthpiece. Using a 70% isopropyl wipe, clean the interior of the silicone mouthpiece until all reclaim or material is gone. Note: If using this method, please proceed to wipe off immediately any isopropyl residue within the first few seconds of application to prevent potential harm to the surface of your mouthpiece.
When this is cleaned up and the glass airflow insert is dry, proceed to secure the glass airflow insert into the silicone mouthpiece by holding the mouthpiece with the tip facing down, and inserting the glass airflow insert until its glass tip is securely snug in the tip of the silicone mouthpiece. Note: Please ensure the pathways are correctly aligned to the airflow hole on the silicone mouthpiece.
That’s it - your mouthpiece is all cleaned up and ready to rock.
Regular cleaning of your AERIS is essential for optimum performance and to guarantee each use is as fresh as the first. The steps outlined above, when followed diligently, will help in prolonging the life and efficiency of your device. So, take a few moments after several sessions to give your AERIS the care it deserves, and it will reward you with unparalleled experiences sesh after sesh.
