Recommended items:
70%-90% Liquid Isopropyl Alcohol, 50% Isopropyl Wipe, container or cup (suitable for glass, preferred silicone or plastic), small towel (paper towel), and a funnel.
First start by pouring your liquid isopropyl into your container. Once set, begin disassembling your unit into three parts, your CARTA Base, Everlast Atomizer, and Glass Top.
*NOTE if your atomizer is stuck on the unit do not force it off, heat the unit up on the lowest setting. Remove when the atomizer is cooled to room temperature and safe to touch.
Everlast Atomizer:
Begin with the atomizer. Remove the silicone bumper and carb cap tether. Once the silicone accessories have been removed. Take apart the atomizer, you will have an atomizer casing, insert, carb cap and ceramic lid.
Tip: Remember, the atomizer lid is reverse threaded so turn right (counter-clockwise) to remove it. If you’re having trouble removing your ceramic lid submerge the whole atomizer in your isopropyl dish and the threading will loosen.
When you have everything broken down add those items to your isopropyl dish and set a timer for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes have passed give the dish a shake and remove the items. Thoroughly dry with a towel or set aside in a sunny area for 1-2 hours to purge any excess isopropyl.
Glass Top:
Now that your atomizer is clean, let’s move on to that glass top. Grab your funnel, insert it into the mouthpiece of your glass top, and pour. Fill to just over the perks. Then use a stopper or your finger to cover the mouthpiece and shake for 30-60 seconds.
Once you're noticing that any leftover resin has been cleared from the top portion pour out the isopropyl into your dish and then place the glass top standing upright into the dish. This will flush out any leftover wax in the bottom portion of the top. Soak for 1-5 minutes depending on the amount of reclaim. After everything is looking shiny, rinse the top with water until all isopropyl is removed.
CARTA Base:
Almost done! Now let’s get the base cleaned up. Grab your isopropyl wipes and clean the atomizer connection points. Focus on the gold firing pin and ensure no wax is left over.
Now we can move onto the silicone glass connection on the base, and use the isopropyl wipe to remove any reclaim from this area. Next, if there are any stains on your base lightly rub off and then completely dry.
*NOTE Never pour any liquids on the exterior if the base, if exposed make sure to dry immediately.
From there ensure that each piece of your unit is dry and then reassemble. Once complete you're good to go!
