The 8 white error sequence can be caused by a few things such as a battery that does not have enough power to fire, firing pins not being aligned or having connections interrupted, and even possibly an atomizer short circuit.
To begin troubleshooting first identify your device's battery life by clicking on the unit three times. If you’re seeing 1-2 battery LEDs, plug the unit in and charge until the batteries are full.
If this doesn’t help, remove your atomizer from the unit and use an isopropyl wipe to clean the base and atomizer connections.
Note: If the atomizer is stuck on the base and will not turn do not force. Pour isopropyl into the bases airflow port and into the atomizer chamber. Allow 30-45 seconds for the isopropyl to loosen the concentrated debris and then remove it.
After cleaning, reinstall the atomizer. When installing ensure the threads are connecting properly and the atomizer is sitting flush into the base, not crooked.
If you’re still receiving this error code after trying these two steps the atomizer may have been shorted from excess wax. Try submerging the atomizer in isopropyl to clear the connections. Then re-install following the steps above. If that issue doesn’t clear up after that a new atomizer is going to be needed.
